You may find yourself at a cross roads or turning point, such as the end of a relationship in which the decision to end that relationship may not have been made by you. Even when you have made such decision,emotional turmoil can result, and you may experience feelings of guilt and a sense of wondering whether your decision was the right one. This kind of emotional upheaval can also arise when you reach a certain age, begin a new job or career, move from one town (or even one country) to another, or even just move home within the same area. There are numerous situations throughout your life in which you may experience feelings of emotional turmoil. If you are fortunate enough to be surrounded by the right kind of support and guidance at such a time you may find that your healing becomes a natural process. However, in this type of experience, whatever the initial cause, and whether recent or not, if that support and guidance is not available, a good Healer can often help you find the source of stress and anxiety that is preventing you from living a more full and happy life. You will of course eventually reach the point where you wish to move forward or consider entering a new relationship, friendship, job or environment, and may discover that you are having difficulty letting go of feelings of pain guilt and confusion. Whilst you wish to start afresh, cleansed of all the negative emotions which no longer serve your well being, you may struggle to do this. Such situations are invariably linked to relationship issues, whether they are personal or professional, old or new, and these are times when you can be at your most vulnerable. You may by this stage have re-discovered your optimism and enthusiasm, your thirst for life and your enjoyment of it, and may feel almost intoxicated with the feelings it stirs within you. However, if you were not fortunate enough to have the needed support and guidance from friends or family, it is often difficult to make the transition from one phase of your life to the next without working from a base of fear that you still carry with you from negative past experiences, Whilst those close to you are willing to help, you feel that you cannot discuss such issues with them, knowing that when you are ready to move on, this knowledge is hanging in the air between you and the people in your life. At such time your thoughts, decisions and actions can be adversely influenced without you even being aware of what is happening. As mentioned above, you may find yourself hanging on to fears, anger, frustration, resentment, inability to trust (or love) that you have accumulated along the way as a method of protecting yourself. Unfortunately these emotions are no longer relevant or appropriate and as you apply them to your new situation, they become a burden and an obstacle in the way of the ‘new beginning' you feel so enthusiastic and optimistic about. Therefore at a time in life when you feel you should be at your most joyful and contented you discover that you are anxious fearful and confused. In recognising that this is happening you have taken the first step to healing yourself and moving toward new and positive experiences. If you do not have access to that all important support or guidance, you can stumble along feeling that you are missing out on an opportunity for future happiness, and find yourself in a spiral of disappointment, frustration and low self esteem which is self perpertuating. It can be easier to discuss such things with someone who is completely neutral and who offers total confidentiality. A reputable Healer can often be of invaluable assistance in helping you to release your anxieties and old negativity and look at life from a difference perspective.
