This meditation speaks of the human tendency to hold within our being, negativity from our past, which hinders our progress on the path to our future. 

Black Obsidian is a stone which helps us to clear negativity and to protect us from attracting further such energies. It also has within its metaphysical properties a vibration of helping us to understand where we have held on to the past and why we need to let go in order to move forward.
