Pat Jeffery
~ A Profile ~
Pat Jeffery is a modest but talented artist, who has discovered her gift for channeling her art quite recently. As with many other artists and writers Pat's gift was born out of a personal life crisis and the need to dig deep into her spirituality to cope with that crisis.
She is now also an Accredited Healer having recently completed her training to obtain accredited healer membership of the Association of Professional Healers and so has been working hard in terms of her spiritual development and her spiritual gifts, making quite a few discoveries about herself in the process.
If she were asked to describe herself Pat would say that she is just an everyday mum to her daughter Georgina, dealing with her life a day at a time since the passing of her beloved husband Brian in 2008. Brian was himself a powerful Healer. However, during the course of the past few years Pat has faced many of her dragons in a short space of time, and conquered them. It is my belief that it is out of this deeply traumatic period of her life that her gifts have surfaced, and I suspect that her name will become familiar to many of us before very long.
When Pat feels moved to start painting the inspiration comes swiftly and she does not presume to explain where her paintings 'come from' but they are painted with such fluidity and vibrancy that they are without doubt channeled paintings. One has only to look at them to see that this is so.
Her work could quite clearly be described as energy painting, for the creations she produces on canvas do seem to be a visual representation of the energies of the person she is painting for, or an energy that needs to be expressed, which will in due course be the right painting for someone as yet unknown to her.
What is even more interesting about Pat's art is that she creates her paintings using her fingers rather than a paintbrush. This of course means that she is in direct contact with the canvas whilst her work is being created, and is able to transfer the energy image straight into the painting.
It is clear to see when Pat creates a work of art for a specific individual that the work is strongly connected to that individual's energy, and the shapes and colours are always very relevant to the person she has painted for.
